Recent lighting credits include: Don Pasquale for Welsh National Opera; La traviata, for Longborough Festival Opera;  Sounds and Sorcery – Celebrating Disney’s Fantasia, for The Vaults; Vixen for Silent Opera in assocaition with ENO, (London, Helsinki and Beijing); Purcells’s King Arthur and The Fairy Queen for the Academy of Ancient Music at the Barbican Centre; Die Zauberflöte  and Le nozze di Figaro for Turku Opera at Åbo Svenska Teater, Finland; Radamisto for GSMD; Cosi fan tutte for Bury Court Opera; Theodora for the RNCM; Semele; Flight; Don Giovani; Alcina; Poppea; May Night; Figaro; The Rakes Progress, The Bear, A Dinner Engagement, The Rape of Lucretia, Ariodante, Cendrillon, The Lighthouse, Eugene Onegin, Die Dreigroschenoper, Hansel Und Gretel, and many other productions for Royal Academy Opera; Blue Beards Castle for NYO; Rigoletto for Iford Arts; The Castle for Silent Opera in association with ENO at Wiltons Music Hall; Il Pastor Fido for The London Handel Society and RCMIOS; Don Giovanni for Opera Faber, Portugal; Falstaff for Fulham Opera/Grimeborn Festival; Carmen for ENO Baylis; Der fliegende Holländer for Fulham Opera; The Snow Maiden, Macbeth and Acante et Cephise for UCO Opera.

As an Associate lighting designer Jake lit the US premiere of Peter Maxwell Davis and David Pountney’s  “Kommilitonen!” at the Lincoln Centre New York.  Jake has also lit for theatre, independent films and Perrier Award winning comedy productions.

In 2009 he was made an Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.
